Gigga Bit Labyrinth

developed by AnanCee

A platformer inspired by Super Mario 3-D World.  This is still in early development and most of what you see is from a sandbox mode where the developer is testing various mechanics.  That being said I love the pulsating voxel art style along with the character design, and some of the mechanics look quite fun already so I thought I would share and hopefully motivate the developer to work faster. :P

They have a YouTube channel where they’ve started to go into depth on the design of Gigga Bit Labyrinth and is worth a look.  You can also follow the developer on Twitter.

ASCIICKER

developed by gumix

I thought this was a really neat project that was in super early development as it has such a great use of ASCII art. You can play it in your browser (even in your phone) and just run around for a quick look see. I believe the developer is still working on it but I wouldn’t mind seeing this type of art style in other games.

Bluedrake42 did a nice video on it which was how I found out about it and where the footage above comes from.
