“A story-focused adventure game about substance abuse from a perspective of a little girl. The story focuses on how a child processes adult’s problems through her imagination. How do you find a monster you can’t see?

“Lydia is a story game in the vein of To the Moon. The game is all about the atmosphere. Spectacular gray-scale graphics with a hint of color and dark, ambient soundscape set the tone for the melancholic story.”

Stone Story

developed by standardcombo  |  Platforms: Windows, Mac, Linux

“An RPG set in a dark and vile world.”

“One of the game’s defining mechanics is that you have no direct control of the player character. You choose what items to equip, which location to visit and chill out while an artificial intelligence does all the exploring, combat and looting. That doesn’t mean this is an idle game. Potions and special abilities are maximized by good timing.

“Boss fights are intense and can keep you at the edge of your seat, requiring quick item swaps if the boss changes patterns. Additionally, an expansive item crafting system allows you to combine otherwise disposable items–rewarding experimentation, giving you interesting choices and making full use of all the gathered loot.”
