“Set out on an epic story of transformation, where shifting between the perspectives of a bird and a child will be key to unravel the land’s mysteries and create a path forward through the barren landscape. Just gnoming around town…

developed by the_tubby1  |  Platforms: TBA

This is super early in development and is as yet unnamed, but the little details like the physics on the little pig backpack and the inflation of the hat while gliding already make it quite charming.  It is being developed in the Unreal engine and is still too far out to have a release date.  You can follow progress of the game on the developer’s twitter below.

“You’re broke, you’re hungry, and your only friends are a vintage hoverbike and a bowl of ramen noodles.

“In Desert Child, you are a young and talented hoverbike racer who needs to figure out how you can scrape enough cash together through racing and odd jobs to punch your one-way ticket to the Red Planet to enter the biggest race in the universe, the Grand Prix.”

The release trailer is an homage to Cowboy Bebop which you can check out below.

Hoa

“A platform-adventure game featuring beautiful hand-painted art and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The game tells the story about Hoa, a little girl who lost her family, and her journey through a breathtaking and magical world back to her homeland.”

This is still really early in development but already looks beautiful using hand-drawn backgrounds with 3-D characters and leaves.
