Infinity: Battlescape is a multiplayer space sim on Kickstarter now. I’ll have a full post up later this week, but I really like the transition from space, so thought I would put that separately. You can watch the full video here (the gif is a bit sped up).
A local multiplayer brawler with a clean art style and an included level editor.
“Tons of weapons that enable crazy weapon combos giving the player varied matches and tons of replay value. Its simple controls yet hard to master skill ceiling makes it perfect for both casual and hardcore gamers. With up to 4 player supported this game is suitable for free for all mayhem action and even tactical 2v2 gameplay.”
“An atmospheric horror adventure game that pulls you into a living dungeon where everything conspires against your escape. It is an immersive journey into the unknown, personified by the Darkness itself. Your odds of escape are slim, and when you fail, the dungeon will change before you can try again. Defend yourself from the Darkness with whatever light you can find; once your light burns out, the Darkness will consume you.”
The fourth and final chapter in Doorways, a horror adventure game. It’s out now on Early Access.
“Juan Torres and his family were the target of an uncountable number of rumors and several disappearances that took place in El Chacal, a small village of around 4,800 inhabitants, located in the arid mountainous region of Salta, a province of Argentina.
“Among the stories spread around the surrounding villages, legends involving cannibalism, black magic, sects and all kinds of superstitions were heard.”
“Explore spooky time-traversing landscapes, don adorable new costumes that transform into powerful Hallo-warriors, and collect even Creepier Treat Cards to wield in combat against a legion of hygiene obsessed baddies. Only heroic siblings Wren and Reynold can save Halloween forever!”
An adventure horror game available for all major platforms, and just released on Nintendo Wii U.
“You’re on your own. No one to come for you. No one to help you. No one to hear you scream. Slender: The Arrival is the official videogame adaption of Slender Man, developed in collaboration with Eric “Victor Surge” Knudson, creator of the paranormal phenomenon that has been terrifying the curious-minded around the world since its inception, with Mark Hadley and Blue Isle Studios.”
“An unusual mix of survival horror, stealth mechanics, adventure games, a virtual pet, a physical and psychological survival simulation and a truly interactive story. The player is encouraged to role-play and forget about the game’s workings, while the story moulds to match the player’s actions. This is a game where your choices genuinely matter.”
“A horror adventure game that doesn’t rely on jump scares or gore. A Lynchian psychological nightmare where you play as yourself. Escape from a dark and surreal Victorian town that clings to the precipices of underground cliffs. The gamespace dynamically twists and contorts around you in real time, as you unravel an equally twisted narrative. Discover the hidden spaces haunted by ‘The Grandchildren’ as you uncover clues to understanding just where and what you are.”
“An open world, sci-fi survival horror FPS with RPG elements in development for Windows PC.”
“Play as a Sleeper, awoken from cryosleep in Eden, a fallen utopia wrought with death and danger. Meet PAMELA, an omnipresent AI overseer who is left alone watching over the once-vibrant city, now reduced to a silent monolith gliding across the ocean. She will fight by your side as you struggle against Eden’s tortured citizens.
“Uncover the tragic events that lead to the downfall of a civilization, and fight for your life as the broken citizens of Eden defend their home against your intrusion. With a personality-driven AI system, no encounter will be the same as the Afflicted react in unpredictable ways, driven by their excruciating pain and disfiguring disease.”
