This week we have another awesome drawing by JD; the caveman with his beautifully flowing hair, frolicking in the grass with the local forest animals.

Sunday is great for discovering new music. This is a collection of tracks by Chris Hurn, which he is giving up freely for use in non commercial projects. Even the Ocean by Sean Hogan & Jonathan Kittaka – a 2d adventure platformer where the enemies don’t necessarily kill you, but change your energy level which affects the physics of the gameplay. Your run speed and jump height are inversely proportional, and increasing one decreases the other.
Salt by Lavaboots Studio – an open world RPG exploration game. Gather resources, explore different islands, and upgrade your ship. It’s in early access now, but with a lot of positive feedback. :)
Prisonscape by Heaviest Matter – a charming adventure/RPG set in a beautiful locale overlooking a scenic valley. Meals included. The view is to die for.
Exception by Traxmaster Software – an action platformer set inside a computer where you must battle viruses and malware. Crazy flowing gameplay with changing environments, juxtaposed by a comic book style story.
Eastshade by Eastshade Studios – “…a game that is a world worth exploring for the sake of exploring. There are no enemies to kill, no dialogue dramas between acted characters to play out, and no towns to build. There is a world with sights to see, sounds to hear, people to meet, things to find, and impasses to surmount.”
Sounds really refreshing.
Devouring Stars by François Alliot – a real time strategy and exploration game set amongst the stars. Each of the particles in the gifs is one of your fighters that you harvest from star fields. You use them to defend yourself and destroy your enemies.
Amber Throne – a turn based RPG with a painted art style. Control Arra as she tries to finish her father’s work by destroying the Amber Throne. The developer only has a twitter account, nag them to make a proper website please. :)
Super Daryl Deluxe by Dan & Gary Games – a 2D action RPG where you play as new student Daryl who must overcome the evil faculty members (naturally) and save the world. I really like the music in the seizure inducing trailer.
