Seinfeld Adventure

A point-and-click adventure that would like to be made but is waiting on approval from the creators of Seinfeld.  The developers are hoping with enough internet attention it will help their case to make a roughly 30 minute game with a new story that captures the essence of the TV show.

You can see the original trailer and their pitch on the website below, I edited the video to add the Seinfeld theme music and to time it to the scenery. :)

>Run TavernQuest

“You are in a TAVERN.  Well, YOU aren’t in a tavern.  Some player named STEVE is in a tavern.  You are just his computer program, and your job is to deal with his inane and ill-advised text commands to try and piece together a coherent game.

“Unlike other text adventures, in Run TavernQuest, you won’t be doing any typing. Instead, STEVE types to you, and you forge his adventure via multiple choice.  There are hundreds of decisions to make so you can be in complete control of the game world.  You decide everything from what lies behind the door the player just opened, to how the skeleton reacts to the player’s insult.”

Pixel Ruins (廃墟ドット)

A gorgeous post-apocalyptic action adventure featuring cute cats and a photographic twist.  There isn’t a lot of information go on in terms of what else you can do in the game (at least that I can find with Google translate), but a demo is planned for this summer so I suppose we will find out then.

I’m not sure how many areas there are to take pictures of but even if it’s limited the sense of depth it adds is wonderful for a 2D game, and it really makes me want to go exploring.  What would you like to be able to photograph? 🦋
