“A frantic firefighting game set in a hyper-capitalist reality where traditional emergency services are a thing of the past. Scale buildings, smash windows, fight fires and save lives either alone or with up to four players. Embr is the last stand in a world ablaze.”
“It’s time to redefine the firefighting service paradigm and give the power to you – the people – and we’ll take care of the pesky paperwork. Everyone should have the opportunity to be a hero, and that’s why with just one simple payment, you can become a Respondr™ today!”
An online multiplayer shoot ’em up where you are strapped into swivel chairs and use the recoil of your guns to zoom around the room laying waste to your enemies as gracefully as office furniture allows. There will be various multiplayer modes as well as an option to play against the AI in single player or co-op.
“A co-op survival game with randomly generated worlds and many RPG elements. In Mists of Noyah, you start in an abandoned fort that has been attacked and destroyed by corruption, and you’ll have to explore the world to find the inhabitants who have managed to escape the attack, to rebuild the fort and return to war!
“During the day, you’ll have to collect resources such as wood, iron, gold, special ores, plants, food, and search for lost inhabitants of the ancient fort! During the night, you’ll have to build defensive gates, regroup with the found inhabitants and protect yourself. Every full moon, the demons lash out at your fort and get stronger with each attack.”
“A cooperative multiplayer game where you have to work together with your friends to build a railway track across endless procedurally generated worlds. Master random encounters with its inhabitants, upgrade your train and keep it from derailing!”
I thought this was quite intriguing and it reminded me a bit of Overcooked just with locomotives. The regular speed gameplay looks a bit peaceful but reading some stuff by people who played it at PAX East it does seem to invoke a similar kind of stress from all the things you have to manage including clearing land, gathering materials, building the rails, and making sure your train doesn’t catch on fire.
“Step into the shoes of Sir Albert Wickes and The Right Honourable Clarence Baxter, two 19th century explorers who have chosen to pilot the HMS Fearful on its maiden voyage to Mars.
“When the steam engine runs out of coal, the ship’s cat shreds the navigation chart, and the tea gets cold, it becomes clear that interstellar transportation isn’t a walk in the park. It will take the talents of two players working together on the problems that arise to get to Mars in one piece.”
“A futuristic co-op adventure built in the classic dungeon crawler style.
“Moving in a 3D grid-based style, players must work their way through the Inviolate ‘Brain Banking’ facility. Explore locations, encounter hostile creatures and solve environmental puzzles to escape – or at the very least survive.”
“A fast paced dungeon crawler with rogue-like elements where you assume the role of a powerful wizard intent on overcoming the Chaos Trials to become the next Wizard of Legend.
“Exploration of the dungeons is a seamless experience as you travel from one room to the next in search of powerful spells and items to aid you on your quest. All of the dungeon layouts are procedurally generated and are comprised of both randomly generated rooms as well as precrafted experiences.
“Combat in Wizard of Legend is a blend of rapid movement and magic that involves chaining spells together to defeat enemies while quickly repositioning to avoid incoming attacks. The use of dashing spells is key in allowing you to control the pace of combat by staying at an optimal range to cast spells at enemies near and far.”
“Master the destiny of a full cast of tragically unique heroes as you plot a course across an apocalyptic wonderland! Dogged at every step by a mysterious and power-hungry narrator (Will Stamper, “BattleBlock Theater”), you’ll need to rally your troops and steel your wits if you hope to survive a hostile world filled with sinister robots, deadly vampires and brutally adorable cupcake people!”
“A cooperative exploration and puzzle solving game that encourages players to discover a deeper meaning of friendship. The players control two characters that can interact with the world and each other in a number of ways, but the core mechanic focuses on the connection between the players. This connection, this bond between friends, is represented by a physical, rope-like link which can be used to manipulate objects.”
“A bullet hell dungeon crawler following a band of misfits seeking to shoot, loot, dodge roll and table-flip their way to personal absolution by reaching the legendary Gungeon’s ultimate treasure: the gun that can kill the past.
“Select a hero [or team up in co-op] and battle your way to the bottom of the Gungeon by surviving a challenging and evolving series of floors filled with the dangerously adorable Gundead and fearsome Gungeon bosses armed to the teeth. Gather precious loot, discover hidden secrets, and chat with opportunistic merchants and shopkeepers to purchase powerful items to gain an edge.”
Saw some of the let’s plays before release and it looked pretty good. A bit slow to start off but some of the guns you can pick up look so damn cool. Like the one that shoots sharks :O
