An online and local multiplayer top down twin-stick shooter.   Currently there are 22 weapons and the ammo available is low which forces you to switch your weapons and gameplay tactics often.  It’s in development for PC and Linux, you can vote for it on Steam Greenlight below.

Sombrero

Local four player arena deathmatch in a pseudo Spaghetti Western world, with a mix of gameplay from Super Smash Brothers and Towerfall.  There are a few different modes such as deathmatch, capture the flag, and a mobile king of the kill.

The developer promises that all DLC will be free, which is such a refreshing change from what seems to be becoming the norm.

Battery Jam 

developed by four students from the Savannah College of Art and Design.  

A four player local multiplayer arena game.  Choose from four different characters and battle with your friends.  There are various types of abilities that you can use to try to push your opponents into death traps (such as lava) which are scattered through the stage.
