Some of the best pixel art indie games that I have curated or ones that just hit you right in the nostalgia with their retro feel.

Norco: Faraway Lights

“A post-noir point-and-click adventure that immerses the player in the industrial swamplands of South Louisiana, with a gameplay style reminiscent of such classics as Snatcher and Rise of the Dragon, as well as more recent revivals such as Read Only Memories and VA-11 HALL-A.

“You return to your hometown of Norco, Louisiana to settle your dead mother’s estate only to discover that your brother has gone missing.  Accompanied by a fugitive security cyborg that your mother harbored for almost a decade, you must venture into a conspiratorial underworld hidden throughout the swamps, refineries, and abandoned strip malls of suburban New Orleans.”

Spirittea

“In Spirittea you play as a writer who has moved to a small town in the countryside in hopes that the change of scenery will help you finish writing your book.  Unfortunately for you, this particular town has been going through some difficult times due to natural disasters, strange accidents and mysterious occurrences.

“After drinking from an ancient teapot you gain the ability to temporarily see into the spirit world only to discover that the town is haunted by a bunch of angry spirits.  It is up to you to re-open the old bath house on the mountain where the spirits once rested, and to search high and low to find and convince them to soak their stress away. “

Oddity

“A surreal urban fantasy role playing game set in the Seventies.  Play as Travis Fields, an ordinary boy who leaves home in a bid to save the world Travis takes to the field armed with a baseball bat and pellet gun…  Along with powers he’s only now discovering.  It might have something to do with that “Gate” thing that blew up on an impromptu camping trip…”
