Some of the best pixel art indie games that I have curated or ones that just hit you right in the nostalgia with their retro feel.

Narita Boy

“Explore and fight in a retro-futuristic world.  Swim deep into a oneiric, poetic and unique experience across dimensional planes.

I beat this recently and while it had its problems I really enjoyed it for the most part. Great art and animations with an awesome feeling of nostalgia and an absolutely amazing soundtrack.
