Dandara

developed by Long Hat House  |  Platforms: iOS, Android, possibly PC in the future

[gfycat data_id="ShimmeringFarFulmar"][gfycat data_id="InfatuatedGrotesqueAidi"][gfycat data_id="AdolescentUnitedDuck"]

“A metroidvania carefully designed for mobile phones, we considered how you could achieve exploration and fast action with the touchscreen. The result was a bizarre, gravity-less world, with hidden beauty. Jumping from surface to surface, it’s up to Dandara to restore order and direct a direction-less world!”

“A modern, illustrative platformer, set in a world constantly reacting to your change in identity. You are Elvis. Home owner, triangular metal person and lover of dryness. A sudden thunderstorm leaves your house dissolved into a pile of rubble.

“Only lightning-fast reactions will keep you from a looming rusty funeral. Don your Shifty Suit to incognito yourself and and walk among suspicious hairy folk. Perilous puzzles and prejudiced platforms will bar your way in this deceptively complex gaming experience.”

windowframe

developed by Daniel Linssen  |  Platform: Windows

[gfycat data_id="MealyDearestGosling"][gfycat data_id="TalkativeWeepyBlobfish"][gfycat data_id="CarefreeLikableDipper"]

A vampire hunting puzzle platformer where you can fire stakes into the sides of the game window, locking them into place or pulling them towards you, in order to overcome various obstacles.  This was made for Ludum Dare 35, the theme being shapeshift.

I apologize for the glitches (flashes) in the gifs.  My computer, the game, and the recording software just wouldn’t make peace.  Sorry. >.<

[Download on itch.io]

In certain parts of the expedition, the game window travels around the screen, which I thought was a neat little trick.  Playing over my twitter feed below. :)

Slime-san

developed by Fabraz  |  Platforms: Windows, Mac, Linux

[gfycat data_id="SparklingOptimisticAtlanticbluetang"][gfycat data_id="PlasticMedicalBird"][gfycat data_id="FondUncomfortableGnatcatcher"]

A quirky pixel art platformer.  The developer previously made Planet Diver, a top down arcade shooter.

“Slime-san was minding its own business, sliming around in a peaceful forest when suddenly…A giant worm appeared and gobbled it up!
Now deep within the worm’s belly, Slime-san has to face a decision: Be digested by the incoming wall of stomach acid… Or jump, slide and slime its way through the worms intestines and back out its mouth!”
