“A point and click adventure featuring a creature named Pip, who is incarnated in a surreal world as a funny but brutal worm. Pip is naive and doesn’t know anything about this reality. Talking with a flower or a stone for him is as natural as tasting another representative of local fauna. He examines this new world, overcoming obstacles to reach a new rebirth and trying to figure out who he is. At the same time he is learning the laws of karma and the relativity of good and evil.”

VirtuaVerse

developed by Theta Division Games, art by Valenberg  |  Platforms: Unannounced

[gfycat data_id="NastyDifficultHumpbackwhale"][gfycat data_id=""]

A cyberpunk point and click adventure game.  There really isn’t much info on this at all, but I love Valenberg’s pixel art so at the very least it should turn out to be pretty.  There’s a music track below which was a collaboration between Victor Love and Dynatron.

The website for the game doesn’t seem to be up and running yet, but you can follow Theta Division Games on twitter.

“A single player adventure point & click puzzle game based on a fantasy story setting.”

“Behind the veil of reality, lies an enchanted world. When the world lost its balance, it fell upon a boy to take on an unexpected journey. Until the moon rises again, the order of the world will not be restored. One can not go back in time to correct his mistake. Whatever happened is irreversible…or is it?”

There’s a demo available which you can download from the website link below.  You can take a listen to part of the soundtrack here as well, it’s really good so far!

“A comedy point ‘n click love letter to classic-era Lucas adventures, HP Lovecraft, Hitchcock and many, many others.

“A lighthearted spoof of the Cthulhu Mythos, Gibbous will have you controlling 3 protagonists, dealing with strange cultists, ancient voodoo, and Dead Cthulhu himself. Well, “dead” is just a matter of opinion…”

Shardlight

developed by Wadjet Eye Games  |  Platform: Windows

[gfycat data_id="TartPassionateDodo"][gfycat data_id="WigglyGiantFluke"][gfycat data_id="SmugBlueIndiancow"]

A post apocalyptic point and click adventure game about a woman searching for the cure to the deadly plague she’s been infected with.

“The world ended on the day the bombs fell. Since then, it’s always been like this: disease, hunger, death. The ruling Aristocrats — a faceless oligarchy that controls all resources — have unchallenged authority. There’s never enough food, water, or vaccine to go around. The rich receive regular doses of vaccinations in exchange for their unconditional government support. The poor live in fear, superstition, and squalor until they die.

“Amy Wellard, a young woman reluctantly working for the government to qualify for the vaccine lottery, believes there’s a cure — and she’s going to find it. Even if it costs her her life.”

“A point ‘n click adventure where you have to travel to different worlds, and find a way to fix a load of universe scale issues that you caused by your attempt to change time.  You’ll meet a lot of strange creatures, some of them will help you, some of them will create obstacles.”

The music is great, especially the title theme.  Love the mood.

There’s a demo available which you can download from the link at the top of the post on the TIGForums, or play in your browser (not compatible with Chrome).

“A handmade, 2D, exploration based, adventure game with a focus on story, character, and mystery.”

“Jenny LeClue is a coming of age tale. Sometimes funny, sometimes scary, always mysterious; it’s a story about finding our strengths, accepting our weaknesses, and the blurred lines between what is right and wrong.”

“This is a game about your choices and how they permanently affect the story. We want to deliver a rich narrative experience about relationships with delightful surprises and interactions. The story also deals with mature themes, complex characters, and an epic tangled mystery. We want you to help guide the direction of Jenny’s journey, within the game itself.”

Love You to Bits

developed by Alike Studio & Pati Games

[gfycat data_id="HonorableLankyGreatargus"][gfycat data_id="ScornfulGivingAmericanmarten"][gfycat data_id="KeenNaughtyKangaroo"]

“A purely visual point & click sci-fi adventure. You follow the epic journey of a tiny human explorer whose robot girlfriend has been torn into pieces. All of them scattered around the universe: you’ll visit dozens of planets full of fantastic aliens, space-time puzzles and hidden objects to collect.”

Love You to Bits is the cutest game I’ve seen all year.  :O

It’s being created by ex members of 5 Ants that worked on Tiny Thief.  Scheduled to be released in February 2016 on iOS, and subsequently released on Android, PC, & Mac.

“A tiny stained-glass point-n-click adventure about laziness and her herald.

“This game is about a lazy guy. One day, his evil employer makes him work, and that’s where everything starts to go awry.

“And yes, this lazy dude is a herald. You may actually know a few heralds, those guys who appear at the beginning of every story, looking for the hero in an attempt to deliver that “call to adventure” thingy, right before the interesting stuff starts to happen. That’s exactly the job our guy must do. Find a hero, give him or her a call to adventure, and be done with it. No exploits, no saving the world stuff. What can possibly go wrong?”

Message Quest has just been released on Steam for PC, Mac, and Linux.  There’s a link to the demo on the website below; you can play in your browser or download it to your computer.  Don’t judge the voice acting by the trailer, as it’s much better in the game (at least, from playing the demo).
