Together with your partner, seasoned investigator Maria Halperin, you’ll take a trip to idyllic Burgess County and the secluded town of Kingdom, Virginia, where a young boy has vanished and nobody seems to know why.
“Before long Anne will find herself negotiating competing interests, uncovering hidden agendas and testing the patience of a community unaccustomed to uninvited scrutiny. This is (finally!) releasing today on PS4, and coming to Steam on Friday (August 12th). I’m not sure any game can live up to the amount of crazy hype this has drummed up, but I’ll be happy to just putter around for a bit in the art style. =) I hope the devs can find some sanity in the near future, the last couple of weeks have seemed super intense.
A 3D procedural puzzle platformer releasing for PS4 in August.
“Bound transports you into a beautiful, fantastical world that exists in the mind of a woman revisiting the memories of her childhood. You’ll use dance moves to traverse vast environments filled with platforming challenges. As the game progresses, the introspective story unfolds through powerful metaphor and imagery, adding emotional depth to the protagonist’s journey.”
“An intense, local multiplayer shooter where you battle with tanks. Compete with friends and destroy each other in a frenzy of bullets, lasers, and explosions in a variety of chaotic game modes. Go ballistic as destruction and mayhem will ensue not only in game, but outside of it as well.”
The developer wrote about the progress of the game over the last eight months, and you can see the improvement in the art and gameplay in the gif below (sorry it’s a bit low res).
A post apocalyptic point and click adventure game about a woman searching for the cure to the deadly plague she’s been infected with.
“The world ended on the day the bombs fell. Since then, it’s always been like this: disease, hunger, death. The ruling Aristocrats — a faceless oligarchy that controls all resources — have unchallenged authority. There’s never enough food, water, or vaccine to go around. The rich receive regular doses of vaccinations in exchange for their unconditional government support. The poor live in fear, superstition, and squalor until they die.
“Amy Wellard, a young woman reluctantly working for the government to qualify for the vaccine lottery, believes there’s a cure — and she’s going to find it. Even if it costs her her life.”
“A minimalist puzzle game with soothing piano music.
“The rules are simple: Match the color patches on the board and reach the exit, all on one single path. Every tile can only be touched once before it falls into nothingness. The game features 50 different levels and gets harder as you progress, always accompanying you with relaxing piano tunes.”
You can pick it up on Steam for $1.99 (or your regional equivalent). There’s also a thread going on Reddit where you can pop the creator some questions about the development process.
“A competitive sports game set in a classic RPG world. The premise is simple, wack the orb into your opponent’s goal! Take a pick from unique characters with their own unique abilities and run, slash and dash your way to victory!
“Battle in multiple arena’s filled with enemies, traps and other stage hazards.”
