Re:creation
developed by Elias Daler.
A top down action-RPG inspired by Legend of Zelda. Play as a now undead hero who is trying to mend the relationship between humans and their colder counterparts. Really, the dead aren’t so bad, once you get to know them. They’re just tired of being killed for loot and experience.
Survivor Squad: Gauntlets
developed by Endless Loop Studios.
A squad management action and strategy game. You control your squad member’s line of sight, and whhen in the dark can only see in the cone where they are looking. Work your way through various traps to get to the extraction zone while fighting off the infected.
There’s also a robust level editor that allows you to build your own scenarios and share them with the community.
Currently in Steam Early Access, with a bunch of positive reviews.
Kieru
developed by Pine Fire Studios.
Monochromatic (blood doesn’t count!) multiplayer ninja stealth game. Two teams (one black, one white) stalk each other in between light and shadow. Black ninjas are invisible in the shadow, and white ninjas are invisible in the light.
It’s still in development, and the developers are toying with the idea of a day/night cycle, which (with the shifting angle of light) would keep the maps dynamic and discourage camping.
A lot of it was inspired by this episode of Samurai Jack.
Super Happy Fun Block
by Ethan Benanav.
A mobile puzzle platformer. Solve various puzzles by shifting the colour of the world to make certain blocks disappear, or change your own colour so that you can pass through them. All mixed together with cute hand-drawn levels with expressive enemies.
Remnant
developed by Death, art by Raymond Schlitter, which make up Minerion Studios.
A 2D puzzle platformer in very early development. You have the ability to shapeshift into various animals (a bird, a monkey, a bull, and a dog), which you’ll need to use in order to navigate the underground labyrinth.
I probably should have waited until this was further along, but that dog strut is too awesome not to share. I’ll most likely post about it again when it’s closer to release, if it’s still looking good. ;)
Proto Raider
by Puzzle Lab.
An ASCII puzzle platformer. Your energetic avatar auto runs through the level, and you must choose the correct path (by jumping/falling) in order to obtain various items that are necessary to survive the obstacles in your way, and reach the exit. For example, if you don’t get Scuba gear before entering the water, or you don’t get an antidote for poison, you die.
Though, I must admit that dying doesn’t look too unpleasant for your character, as they seem to do ASCII versions of various popular dances. ;)
It’s already out on iOS and PC, and is currently going through Greenlight. I really like the music in the Steam trailer. There are 64 single screen levels, and you can read a full review on Touch Arcade.

5 Minute Dungeon
by Derqs.
A side scrolling dungeon crawling roguelike which has a similar concept to Rogue Legacy. Dungeons are randomly generated, and when you die you start back in town and can buy new equipment with the gold you’ve earned.
Still in very early development.
Game Over (working title)
by Studio Blackflag.
An isometric puzzle platformer. Explore a cute cubic world, solving puzzles and unlocking new areas. The atmosphere reminds me a bit of Fez, peaceful exploration.
Created using Playmaker for Unity3D, which allows you to make games without writing any lines of code yourself (it’s all visual).
It’s still in development but you can play the latest build on their website, for now. I’m sure the developers would appreciate any feedback, so feel free to leave a comment here or send them a tweet. :)
Intergalactic Trashman
by GloveCat Studio.
A 2D platformer mixed with pseudo sandbox space travel. Travel the universe in your space ship and visit different planets which contain various platforming and puzzle levels. Defeat enemies, solve puzzles, and collect…trash.
