Pawarumi

developed by Manufacture 43  |  Platforms: Windows, Mac, Linux

“A 2D shoot’em up with 3D graphics. You play Axo, pilot of the ship named Chukaru. Chukaru, with its abilities, is unique in the way it has been blessed by the gods.”

“In this world, the Pre-Columbian civilizations, ancient and mysterious to us, never ceased. Their culture spread all over the world.

“Instead of using steam then electricity, they mastered light then gravity. With even the most dense rocks “flying”, they started to build immense structures out of stones. Then they went on building flying mineral ships. Through their technology and their wisdom, they managed to make contact with three ethereal and much more powerful beings.”

“A shmup with roguelite and bullet hell elements. Rapidly switch between over 30 insane base weapons and counting (plus some relatively sane weapons)! Every time you reload, you transform into another ship with a random weapon.”

Dr. Spacezoo

“A chaotic twin-stick precision shoot-em-up packed full of gibs and grease for 1-4 players. Blast through procedurally generated Space Zoos to rescue exotic space animals in a chaotic bullet-hell shoot-em-up. Or reduce them to gibs. Your call, monster.”

Dr. Spacezoo released on Early Access yesterday.  I first featured the game on Screenshot Daily way back in December 2014, which was the first month of me starting up the site, so it’s got a special little place in my heart. =)  I’m definitely super biased, but please take a visit to the Steam Page below!

Steredenn

developed by Pixelnest Studio

[gfycat data_id="DarlingUnevenAfricanpiedkingfisher"]

“A frenetic and chaotic space shooter, carved in big beautiful pixels, with insane boss battles. Embark in your ship and engage the fight against dreadful space pirates in a never-ending combat for your survival.

“Steredenn is at the crossroads between a shmup and a rogue-like. Enjoy the infinite replayability of the game with its unforgiving gameplay, intense boss fights, (almost) randomly generated environments, twisted space events and a surprisingly large arsenal of weapons. Enhance your ship during your flight with many upgrades and forge your own path across the universe!”

It recently released for Windows and Mac, and the Steam reviews are really positive, check it out below.  I made a simple post about it 6 months ago, nice to see it releasing. :)
