An acrobatic 2D score attack shooter coming to all major platforms. Blood Alloy in its final form is intended to be a full fledged Metroidvania, but for now the developers are focused on releasing a shooter with a smaller scope, which will hopefully be successful enough to support their bigger ideas.
An exploration adventure game set in a creepy and dirty city full of tentacles. Help Kaf Kafkaryan, an octoblood addict, solve the problems of the creatures he meets in his dreams, in order to unravel the mysteries in his waking life.
Fun fact, pickled sea cat (me) means pickled octopus. =)
“A turn based strategy game about driving the world into chaos and darkness by manipulating it from the shadows.”
Instead of controlling a run of the mill hero, you play as one of the “old ones”, where your goal is to weaken the world enough to prepare for your glorious return.
I really liked the art and the descriptions from the game, so I thought I would put them in a separate post. You can see That Which Sleeps here, which is a strategy game about weakening the world so that you may return.
Each faction plays a bit differently, and these aren’t all of them, just a selection of what I thought looked best. Sisyphus is the only human faction (top image).
Let’s see what else you can be.
Limos, Shadow of Creation.
“An injustice forgotten, a hate without meaning. Pervert the living, rend your children, and bring this nightmare to an end.”
Belial, the Shadow Prince.
“Schemes drip down to a shadowed throne, lies echo in its black chambers. A soothing relief for the dead thing that lays there, a broken lord of the wretched.”
Karth, the Form of Fury.
“They wait, persecuted, driven into dark forests and deep caves. They wait, eager, for their blood burns as omens fall. They wait, as the drums of war begin to beat. Their God comes again.”
Inatha, The Wings of Winter.
“Fear the mountains for the words that they speak, fear the snows for the horrors they keep, fear in ice the ancient’s deceit.”
Top down arena combat for up to four players. You control a machine by dashing around the screen, trying to position yourself for a one hit kill while your opponent does the same.
There’s a lot of sexy dancing around that short GIFS can’t really show. Longer high res ones are here and here.
A massively multiplayer space shooter that you can play right from your browser with no download required (it uses Microsoft’s Azure servers). The highest number of concurrent players so far is almost 1000, with a much higher potential ceiling.
Currently, every other Saturday you can play the PvP dogfighting aspect, check the website for the countdown timer to see when it opens.
It’s a bit difficult to record nice GIFs for games with realistic-ish graphics (that play nice with Tumblr), so take a peek at the trailer if you like.
A puzzle game for mobile where you use your finger to slide the grid-like environment around in order to guide your robot through the level. There are various hazards that you can deal with using a context action button. It’s like a sliding puzzle game on steroids.
An online multiplayer dogfighting game, with support for local split screen multiplayer for up to four players. Instead of being confined in an invisible box, the stages are (very small) entire worlds that you can fly around, which is a pretty neat trick. The combat seems a bit Star Foxxy, always good.
A drug dealing strategy game. Normally this wouldn’t really be my thing but it seems to have a solid gameplay foundation, with nice pixel art, and also reminds me of Breaking Bad. Though, Mr. White would be pretty appalled at selling where you cook.
Build your empire underground, creating and selling various types of illegal substances. Even if you plan everything perfectly, various random events can happen that will send everything sideways.
