Stare into the square.
A pretty trippy rhythm game where you have to press one of four keys depending on the position of the square, while in time with the music. This is only one stage, each stage will have different music and visuals. There’s a trailer with a nice soundtrack, as well as a demo, which might help your mind process the visuals.
Don’t stop.
All the games that I posted to Screenshot Daily in January! Thanks to PixelArtus for the idea. If you’d like to look at the individual indie games, you can see the full posts here.

Rivals of Aether by Daniel Fornace, with art by Johan Vinet.
Super Smash Bros style fighting game with absolutely gorgeous pixel art. Currently four characters have been revealed, with more to come. It’s planned to be released at the end of 2015, on both the PC and Xbox One.
Formula Wincars by DragonJam Studios – an online multiplayer arcade racing game. Reminds me a bit of Mario Kart, but with a slightly more realistic style, and DINOSAURS.
When Pigs Fly by Gaudino Games – a game about building an airplane out of the materials available to farm animals. It’s like Kerbal Space Program, but with pigs. In the first GIF chickens are parachuting off of the plane. Yes, there are parachickens. Still in very early development.
Moonman by Ben Porter – a procedurally generated adventure game. Mixing ideas from Terraria, Spelunky, and Binding of Isaac, Moonman is the type of alien I could get to love, green and all. Recently been through Greenlight. Visit the Kickstarter to see some cool concept/fan art.
Anoxemia by BSK Games – an absence of oxygen in arterial blood. Also a sci-fi horror game set underwater. Explore the depths and try to make your escape from the terrors within. The two bottom images are concept art. The gameplay is quite hard to capture in still images, you can view the trailer here.

There Was a Caveman, illustration by jdpalmerart.
This week we have another awesome drawing by JD; the caveman with his beautifully flowing hair, frolicking in the grass with the local forest animals.
You can see the main inspiration for the art below. Thanks to Aamatniekss for making a cool game. :)
