In the game, you control the male sign symbol that escapes his monotonous job as the bathroom sign and solves his way through the “sign world” to rescue the one he loves, the female bathroom symbol.”

“A puzzle game with awesome physics and controls that offer multiple different ways of solving each level. The game breaks the traditional way of solving puzzles. Instead of having to find the one and only way to solve something you just need to catch the idea of the level and you are free to complete the level the way you feel like doing it.

“As the game progresses it offers the player lots of different mechanics to keep the gameplay fresh and challenging. The gameplay is laidback and doesn’t rely on fast reactions. And all of this is being tied together with a story takes the player on a journey to help the realm of Umbralighte.”

“A tiny stained-glass point-n-click adventure about laziness and her herald.

“This game is about a lazy guy. One day, his evil employer makes him work, and that’s where everything starts to go awry.

“And yes, this lazy dude is a herald. You may actually know a few heralds, those guys who appear at the beginning of every story, looking for the hero in an attempt to deliver that “call to adventure” thingy, right before the interesting stuff starts to happen. That’s exactly the job our guy must do. Find a hero, give him or her a call to adventure, and be done with it. No exploits, no saving the world stuff. What can possibly go wrong?”

Message Quest has just been released on Steam for PC, Mac, and Linux.  There’s a link to the demo on the website below; you can play in your browser or download it to your computer.  Don’t judge the voice acting by the trailer, as it’s much better in the game (at least, from playing the demo).

Stack Gun Heroes

“A co-op gun building FPS that lets you stack gun parts to modify your weapon.  Gun parts in Stack Gun Heroes routinely do things like multiply damage by 200%, or call down orbital strikes, or spew turrets instead of bullets. All effects chain together, and the more convoluted your weapon the stronger it is.  Stack enough parts, and your gun becomes a cataclysmic Rube Goldberg superweapon.”

Saw this on Reddit and it just sounded so awesomely crazy:

“You can stack 8 mods high, but some mods split into multiple barrels each of which can be stacked independently. In all, we’re talking hundreds of effects on a single gun if you’re into that sort of thing.  And even cooler, the order matters too. This means that an Orbital Strike + Turret will call down a turret from orbit, but a Turret + Orbital Strike will make your gun launch turrets that call down orbital strikes on their own.”

O.O

“An exploration-puzzle game that imagines a universe with a different set of physical laws.

“Set in an Escher-esque world filled with secrets and mysteries, you utilize a unique gravity-manipulation mechanic to turn walls into floors. Learn to see the world through whole new perspectives as you navigate mindboggling architecture and solve seemingly impossible puzzles.”

Currently in development for PC, Mac, Linux, & PS4, it’s recently gone through a name change (formerly Relativity).  The developer has been experimenting with glitch art, which I thought was really cool.  You can see some examples below, or check out 100 wallpapers on the website.  You’ll be able to make your own in the game in photography mode which allows you to change the shaders and art style.

The gameplay gifs were made using an older gameplay video on the Playstation blog from E3, things have improved since then, and will improve a lot more by release. :)
