The gameplay trailer for LawBreakers came out today and I thought this sequence looked like a lot of fun. The game is a 5 vs 5 free online multiplayer shooter (which reminds me of Overwatch). You can check out the full video below, or visit the website.
A team based pinball game where each player controls their own ball (in third person) and tries to collide with bumpers in order to change them into their team’s colour. When you “score” by going in between the flippers, the bumpers tagged in your team’s colour add to your high score.
Made for an Unreal Engine game jam in two weeks, and currently being developed into a full game. You can try out the prototype from the indieDB page below.

“The game puts you in the shoes of Bjorn Thonen, an antique seller being robbed one night after coming back home drunk. Doing his owninvestigation with the help of Sandra, his next-door neighbor, he ends up involved in a mysterious and murky affair. But these two unlikely heroes may be able to surpass themselves and discover ancient secrets!”

“Play as detective Franklin Reinhardt as you explore a deserted house; unravelling the spine-tingling tale of what has happened to its missing residents. Set in 1947, in a location near the Roswell UFO incident, you will play as a experienced detective who has been called in to find information and clues from around the Peterson’s home, to reveal what has happened to the mysteriously missing family.”
An online team based king of the hill brawler based on the ‘Warlock’ mod from Warcraft 3. It’s still in an alpha stage of development (PC/Mac/Linux) and going through an improvement in the art style, so expect it to look even better in the future. :) The stages will be dynamic (with various hazards) and there will be various abilities that you can choose from to design your own “class”.
“A grand swashbuckling adventure that combines three styles of play; The deep tactics of card games with the rich strategy of table top board games, combined with a character role-playing system.
“As a hero from one of the clans of Armello, you’ll quest, scheme, hire agents, explore, vanquish monsters, cast spells and face off against other players, with one ultimate end goal in mind — storming the palace and becoming King or Queen of Armello.”
Launching on September 1st on Steam (Win/Mac/Linux) and PS4 (and tablets next year). It’s actually up for vote on PS Plus, but doesn’t look like it will win, which is unfortunate as that means my friends won’t play it and I will be lonely. :(
A really old school dungeon crawling RPG adventure inspired by games like Eye of the Beholder, Lands of Lore, and Dungeon Master. It’s still in very early development and you can follow the process over on the TIGForums.
“A first person speedrunner from hell. You race over platforms and shoot fireballs to reach an exit portal in the least amount of time. Game is inspired by Quake and Super Meat Boy. It’s hardcore and focuses on speed and fast reaction”
For some reason this just seems so refreshing. Come back to me childhood. >.<
Semisphere is a stealth puzzle game where you control two characters which affect each other’s worlds. It recently went through an art change (old art style here), and the developer has written a bit about the methods used to create the different effects (in Unity).
